| The Banking and Insurance sector in India has entered into new phase with the introduction of |
| deregulation and privatisation of economy with new challenges for the 21st century in the form of |
| meeting social obligations and at the same time achieving high degree of operational efficiency |
| comparable to global standards. There will be growing demand for qualified manpower for the |
| Banking and Insurance sector in the coming years on account of expansion of business in newly |
